I was originally excited for the new jersey material, but I was disappointed after a few practices and games. I've owned at least four different jerseys that were from the original N-knit style/material and I really liked those ones.
The new material is much thinner and partially see-through, especially with light jerseys. For a guy, this isn't much of an issue but the women on my team were more worried about that.
I was hoping the new material would be able to hold up to my previous standards for jerseys, but unfortunately after a few slides and bids, I can see the material already starting to fray and break down. I haven't even had the chance to wear it to a tournament yet and it's already like this.
I also feel like the sizing is slightly different than the N-knit jersey. I ordered the same size as my previous jerseys but found that this was fit a bit larger and worse in the shoulders/sleeves area. This might have been my mistake, to not check the sizing chart and to just assume that the sizing was the same as the previous N-knit sizing.
I get that BE were likely trying to go for a jersey with better cooling and moisture wicking, but the material comes across as cheaper and poorer quality unfortunately. I would not recommend these new APX jerseys over the previous ones and I will likely recommend against them for my captain for future kits
